I fractured my foot in fall 2017 while running in the Twin Cities Marathon. I was attempting to qualify for the Boston Marathon, and learned very quickly that nutrition and proper training is key for such an intense activity. A running coach was able to get me back on track with nutrition, cross-training and a running plan. In October 2019, I returned to the Twin Cities Marathon and accomplished my goal from two years before, qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
