Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Skim Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1½ Tbsp Unflavored BiPro Whey Protein Isolate
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/8 Tsp Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Medium Grain Rice
  • 1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

  1. Combine milk, sugar, BiPro, egg and salt until well combined.
  2. Heat to 160°F over medium heat, stirring frequently. Add rice and heat until simmering (185-190°F).
  3. Cook at approximately 185°F with frequent stirring (adjusting heat as necessary) for 35-40 minutes, or until pudding thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
  5. Spoon into bowls and serve warm. Refrigerate uneaten portions.
