Protein Crackers

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Whole Wheat or All Purpose Flour
  • 2 Tbsp BiPro®, Unflavored, Whey Protein Isolate
  • 1-2 tsp Lipton® Savory Herb with Garlic Recipe Soup & Dip Mix*
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Butter, softened

Directions

  1. Combine flour, BiPro whey protein isolate, soup mix, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles a coarse meal.
  3. Slowly add water while mixing with a fork. Knead all ingredients to form a cohesive ball that is not sticky.
  4. Roll dough on a floured surface or pastry cloth until very thin (~1mm).
  5. Transfer dough to a baking sheet lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray (wipe off excess).
  6. Cut into 1” x 1” squares using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife. Prick squares with a fork if
  7. desired.
  8. Bake at 400°F for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
  9.  Cool crackers on a wire rack.

*Adjust to taste. Can also use other flavors or seasonings.
