Lightened-up Queso Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup pico de gallo
  • 1 scoop BiPro Bold unflavored
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

*stir protein into greek yogurt--allow to hydrate while making the rest of the dip

1.    in sauce pan, melt butter, whisk in flour until thick
2.    slowly add in skim milk, continuously whisking
3.    lower heat and add in cheese, cubed
4.    stir continually until cheese is melted
5.    remove from heat and add yogurt/protein mix and seasonings
6.    add pico de gallo, mix, and serve warm
