Cheesey Bacon Pepper Poppers

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of mini bell peppers
  • 8oz fat free cream cheese, room temp
  • 1 scoop BiPro RENEW Unflavored Protein Powder
  • 1/4 cup of light sour cream
  • 3 slices of turkey bacon
  • 2 green onions
  • 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1.    Preheat oven to 400°F, line a baking sheet with tin foil.
2.    Combine cream cheese, sour cream, BiPro, garlic powder, and salt & pepper and mix until smooth.
3.    Slice peppers lengthwise and remove seeds.
4.    Cut bacon into small pieces and heat in a frying pan until crispy.
5.    With a spoon or piping bag, fill each pepper half with about 1/2 Tbsp of cream cheese filling.
6.    Top peppers with bacon, cheese shreds, and finely chopped green onion.
7.    Bake for 20 minutes.
