Black Bean Burgers

  • 1 can low sodium black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 scoops BiPro Elite Unflavored
  • 1/2 medium green pepper
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • Recommended spices: 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp hot sauce, salt & pepper to taste


1. A food processor works best to blend all ingredients:
[Add green pepper, onion, and garlic first and pulse to chop finely. Then add black beans and blend until a paste forms. Finally, add egg, BiPro protein, spices, and bread crumbs and pulse until a dough comes together and protein is hydrated.]

2. Form into ~4 large patties on a well-greased baking sheet (silicon mats also work well).

3. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes, turning burgers over at 10 minutes.
