Apple Walnut Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried apples
  • ½ cup Pitted dates
  • 1 scoop or packet BiPro whey protein, French Vanilla or Unflavored
  • ½ cup Old fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup Chopped walnuts
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 2-4 Tbsp Unsweetened applesauce

Directions

  1. Place dried apples and pitted dates in food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Add BiPro, oats, walnuts and cinnamon and pulse until combined.
  3. Add applesauce 1 Tbsp at a time, pulsing several times after each addition, until a cohesive mixture is formed. (Check after each addition to see if mixture can be formed into a ball that holds its shape.)
  4. Form 1 inch balls and refrigerate or freeze.

Note: The dried apples used in the recipes are the chewy type found in stores near other dried fruits, not the crisp apple chip type.
