Eden Prairie, Minn. – BiPro USA has signed pro figure skating partners Marissa Castelli and Mervin Tran. The pair diligently trains each day and recovers from workouts with BiPro whey protein isolate.

“I always wanted to try a protein powder to recover from workouts faster. The problem is, I was nervous about bulking up. I didn’t want to build a ton of muscle mass,” Castelli said. “Two years ago, I tried BiPro and ever since it’s helped me get much stronger without gaining any weight. That’s why I still use BiPro almost every day and am such a strong advocate for the product.”

Castelli earned a bronze medal in 2014. The Rhode Island native paired up with Tran one year later. Tran and Castelli have competed together multiple times since then, earning bronze at the 2016 U.S. Championships.

While Castelli consumes BiPro to help her develop lean muscle mass, Tran has used the protein powder to supplement a bulking diet. He needs to be incredibly strong and coordinated in order to perform complicated lifts on the ice.

“I’ve bulked up considerably since taking BiPro and that was my goal,” Tran said. “With BiPro, there aren’t any negative side effects that other protein powders have given me.”

Prior to his partnership with Castelli, Tran notched a bronze medal at the 2012 world championships. He and Castelli regularly train in Montreal but compete as Americans.
