Eden Prairie, Minn.BiPro has signed professional rugby player Sylvia Braaten. Braaten, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), also works as the Director of Performance for Laurus Athletic Rehab & Performance and is the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota.

Braaten has been using protein powders for more than a decade, but gravitated toward BiPro Whey Protein Isolate about two years ago. On top of BiPro being NSF Certified for Sport®, Braaten loves that all of the brand’s products contain six or fewer clean ingredients.

“I love BiPro for a lot of reasons. The biggest reason is that it’s clean. I love that there are very minimal ingredients. I also love that there are no artificial flavors in it,” Braaten said.

With her distinguished technical background, Braaten is an authority on proper nutrition and knows what athletes’ bodies need. Braaten said whey protein isolate is superior to other protein sources because it is the most readily absorbed, offering the body protein it needs to recover after a workout.

“Whey protein isolate’s absorption is the best, bar none. Plant protein powders aren’t going to get to your system as quickly or offer the same amino acid profile. Having a supplement that will help me recover right after workouts is incredibly important. BiPro has been great for that,” Braaten said.

Braaten plays professionally for the Twin Cities Amazons and the United States’ national team. She competed in the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup and is the fifth professional rugby player to join BiPro. Victoria Folayan, Stacey Bridges, Kimber Rozier and Samantha Pankey also recover from rugby workouts with BiPro and rave about the product’s benefits.

BiPro is a consumer brand of Agropur Inc.
