  2. What is Whey Protein Isolate?
Whey protein isolate is a natural dairy protein that is harvested from cow’s milk. Protein shakes and smoothies made from whey are especially popular among athletes as a post-workout drink. 3. What are the benefits of BiPro?
Whey protein offers a wide range of benefits. It’s most widely known for helping athletes recover from workouts by rebuilding broken down muscles. Whey protein is also a popular weight management tool because it can act as an appetite suppressant, helping to keep people from overeating. Research has even indicated that whey protein may lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health. BiPro is also a widely used protein for weight loss surgery patients, helping post-ops consume the protein they need while on restricted all-liquid diets

  4. How is BiPro Whey Protein different?
BiPro prides itself on having a clean label. If you look at the ingredient list of most protein supplements, you’ll likely see a long series of 30-plus ingredients that read like a chemistry lab. All BiPro products contain six or fewer ingredients, ensuring the highest quality possible. None of BiPro’s products contain sugar and the flavored varieties are naturally flavored and naturally sweetened. Every BiPro product is also NSF Certified for Sport®. NSF certification means that BiPro has been tested by a third party to ensure that none of its products contain banned substances and that its labels are accurate.

  5. Why should I choose BiPro over soy and plant proteins?
Simply put, whey protein has a superior amino acid profile. The Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Score (DIAAS), which measures the digestion of amino acids, gives whey protein isolate a score of 1.09 according to a study from Nutrition & Metabolism. The same study gives soy protein isolate a score of .91, pea protein a .82 and rice protein a .37.

  7. Why is whey protein isolate the best protein source?
One of the many benefits of whey protein isolate is that it contains all nine of the essential amino acids, which our bodies must consume from food. Many plant-based protein powders do not carry all nine essential amino acids. BiPro also contains the three branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), leucine, isoleucine and valine. A 2016 study from Nutrition & Metabolism found that leucine has a large impact on muscle protein synthesis, which is the process of repairing broken down muscles. Whey has the highest leucine content of any protein source, according to Nutrition Express

  8. Why is whey protein isolate better than whey protein concentrate?
BiPro Whey Protein Isolate goes through an advanced process that filters out fat, lactose, sugar and carbohydrates. The result is a product with high purity (90 percent or higher) that is readily absorbed by the body. Whey protein concentrate can contain fat, lactose, sugar, carbohydrates and its purity can greatly vary, anywhere from 25 to 89 percent.

  11. Is it OK to prepare a large BiPro beverage in the morning and then drink it slowly throughout the day?
Yes, as long as you make sure to keep the beverage refrigerated and that you consume it within 24 hours. You may notice some settling in the bottom of the container. That is very normal and does not affect the quality of the protein. All you need to do is re-mix the beverage with a spoon or shake the container right before you drink it.
